This case involved allegations of substantial water damage as a result of frozen pipes. The issue was whether the alleged damage occurred during the State Farm policy period. The damages sought included damage to the dwelling – $130,582.00, damage to personal property – $9,223.00, additional living expenses – $106,200, water remediation – $14,582, electric repairs – $1,347, and more than $500,000 in alleged unreasonable denial of claim damages.
